We love both our Caribbean culture and the West Chester, PA community in which we live. While Chester County is rich with cultural diversity, healthy Caribbean cuisine is underrepresented. We have a rich family history steeped in Caribbean cuisine and are proud of the traditions passed on to us!
January 2023, we opened Manjé as the bridge for us to share our culture through a flavorful culinary experience. It’s truly a pleasure to share our cuisine with our friends and neighbors in West Chester!
Our Approach
We prepare food with a proprietary blend of seasonings, marinades, fine selections of meat, and fresh ingredients. All food is handled with the care we’d put into a meal served at the dinner table in our home.

THIS TASTES LIKE HOME!!!! My fiancé and I got the griot (fried pork) and legume (vegetable stew with beef) along with fried plantains, rice and beans, and pikliz. Everything was so flavorful, delicious, and comforting!! We will absolutely be back.

Absolutely delicious! We drove from Allentown and were not disappointed. We came for lunch and actually did a to go order so we could eat for dinner as well. Everything was perfectly cooked and you could tell they use high-quality ingredients. Service was great… super friendly and very accommodating to my diet as I do not eat, sugar, dairy, or processed carbs. They did replace a couple of items so that I would be able to enjoy their cuisine.

Food was delicious and freshly prepared. Fried chicken was best I’ve had in years…savory and well seasoned without being spicy, which isn’t my thing but my son enjoyed his jerk chicken with a bit of a kick. Sweet plantains were done perfectly. Portions generous. Prices reasonable. Easy to park. Pleasant ambiance and friendly service. We will be back to try some more offerings for sure! Go! you won’t regret it!
